About

Hello!

I’m Jorge C. Capote, and I’m an interactive developer living and working in Orlando, FL. I spend most of my time working on video games and other software for companies in the area or for my own company, Let Go Interactive. If you are so inclined you can check out my resume here.

I have greatly varied hobbies and interests, so it’s hard to say what the overall focus of this web site is other than a place for me deposit my wordy things. It seemed to me that the things I usually feel the urge to plunk down on the internet aren’t quite the norm for places like Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. I like to craft things with a bit more permanence to them than that if I can, and I can’t help but feel like almost everything you see on social media is disposable and never meant to be seen again. There is already enough disposable stuff in this world. If I never want to see something again it shouldn’t be hanging around on some server somewhere doing nothing but making money for large corporations via its metadata, but I digress.

I hope that you’ve found the site to be something more than a complete waste of your time. That’s really all I’m going for. If not, then I’m not really sure why you’re reading this. You’d think that being unimpressed with the rest of the site wouldn’t compel you to read more about it and its creator, but hey it’s your free time. Perhaps you really enjoy reading about websites that you don’t like. Does that then mean that you do like said websites? Have I just discovered a paradox?
